The Museum of Everyday Life in Roman Britain
Verulamium was the third largest city of Roman Britain and the museum, stands on the site of the Roman town. Families are always welcome at our museum. Inside you will find: recreated Roman rooms hands-on discovery areas a video about the excavations, and of course some of the finest Roman mosaics and wall plasters outside the Mediterranean.

Opening Hours
Monday to Saturday 10am to 5.30pm (last admission at 5pm)
Sunday 2pm to 5.30pm (last admission at 5pm)
For Bank Holidays and Christmas opening, check with the museum.

Adults – £5
Children, Senior Citizens and Concessions – £3.50
Family Ticket (2 adults + 2 children) – £12
Groups of over 15 people – £2.50 each
Under 5s – Free
Residents of St Albans District (with proof of residency) – Free
Friends of St Albans Museums – Free
Assistance dogs / guide dogs are welcome, but no other dogs.
