Redbourn Village Museum launched an exciting project in 2011, with the aim of spending the next nine years exploring and celebrating in turn each of the nine centuries since the foundation of St Mary’s Church. Every year we intend to mount a display about the century in question, invite an expert to deliver a lecture, and organise an outing to a relevant place of interest. We will invite the younger members of Redbourn’s community to get involved in various ways, and there will be a themed event in the village where everyone can join in the fun. We have called this project “Redbourn through the Centuries”.
